The 15th International Conference on Magnetic Resonance Microscopy (ICMRM) was held at the Central Institute of Neurology (ICM: Institut du Cerveau et de la Moelle épinière), Paris, France, August 18-22, 2019.

The International Conference on Magnetic Resonance Microscopy (ICMRM) aims to advance the latest advances in spatially resolved magnetic resonance methods and their applications.The 15th session continued the previous themes, covering the development and application of space-resolved magnetic resonance in a variety of pore systems including solids, porous media and biological tissues.In addition, the application of magnetic resonance in engineering, biomedical and clinical sciences was introduced, and advances in preclinical imaging, molecular and cellular imaging, and magnetic resonance instruments were incorporated into the theme of the conference.

All the heavyweight scientists in the field are participating,157 experts and scholars from more than 20 countries attended the conference.On the last day of the meeting, the chairman of the current session announced the composition of the chairman and committee of the new session. Dr. Liu Huabing, the chairman of our company, was elected as a member of the 2019-2025 committee, responsible for organizing and coordinating the next international conferences.

The ICMRM conference began in Heidelberg, Germany in 1991, once every two years (originally known as the Heidelberg Conference). Nearly five meetings were held in Halifax (2017) in Canada, Munich (2015) in Germany, Cambridge (2013) in the United Kingdom, Beijing (2011) in China, and Montana (2009) in the United States. The 16th ICMRM will be held in August 2021 at Lund University in Sweden.
