SPWLA Digital Rock, Pore Structures and Dynamics: Physics, Method and AI Workshop was jointly organized by China University of Petroleum (Beijing) and Schlumberger in Beijing, China, from April 29 to 30, 2019. Limecho participated as a major sponsor in the conference and distributed the company's latest MR products and service programs to the participants. The main topic of this meeting is to focus on the advanced technologies in petrophysical analysis, digital core, high-precision imaging and data analysis in industry and academia. The participants included more than 200 experts and teams from Harvard University in the United States, University of New South-West Wales in Australia, Schlumberger-Doyle Research Center and Tsinghua University, Peking University, China University of Science and Technology, University of Electronic Science and Technology, a range of top petroleum universities and research institutes in China. During the conference, the unveiling ceremony of the "Joint Laboratory for International Cooperation of the Ministry of Non-conventional Oil and Gas Education" was held. Zhang Laibin, president of China University of Petroleum (Beijing), attended the unveiling ceremony and issued a letter of engagement for the directors of laboratories. The Joint Laboratory of International Cooperation of the Ministry of Non-conventional Oil and Gas Education is jointly established by China University of Petroleum (Beijing) as the leading unit, with Harvard University, Oklahoma University, Rice University and Calgary University in the United States.
